The Creation Health Peer Mentor Program is an outreach program, lead by Kathi Joe Williams and Young Women on the Move to teach the Creation Health principles to girls in the Wyandotte County Middle Schools. Our girls, the peer mentors (AKA Creation Health Interns) lead after-school sessions, being role-models for leadership and advocates for healthier lifestyles.
Each week we will, the women of Young Women on the Move, will meet with these middle-school girls, educating them on important health choices, assigning them daily missions, and asking them to report their results. We'll share the results on our website!

We have to make the decision to live a healthier lifestyle. This first point encompasses that message. The choices we make every day, several times a day, will ultimately impact our lives.
It replenishes our muscles, refreshes our minds and rejuvenates our soul. Just as important as being active, getting the proper amount of rest will ultimately help us be healthier individuals.
The environment, indoors and outdoors, plays a key role in our health. It's important to find and create a non-stressful environment with fresh air and clean water.
Put your body in motion. Active means physical and mental forward movement. It's very important to get plenty of physical and mental activity everyday.
We must put our faith in God and nurture our relationship with him. He will guide your hand and help you overcome the most difficult of challenges. If we put our faith in God, we can not fail.
Like our relationship with God, we must have positive social and friendly relationships. They can help encourage you to be better and will support you in times of trouble. Social interaction is a crucial and healthy part of life. Celebrate your friends and family.
